Mr. Shahbahram Yazdani was born and raised in Iran. He worked as an aerospace engineer and performed design work for the United States Air Force, Boeing and NASA. For NASA, Mr. Yazdani was a senior rocket scientist and an integral member of the team that redesigned the Space Shuttle following the Challenger explosion. He also performed key design work for the International Space Station.
After Leaving NASA, Mr. Yazdani has had an entrepreneurial career spanning over 35 years. He began his real estate career buying and operating apartment complexes across the city of Houston. Since then, his portfolio has grown to include over 2,000,000 SF of shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, warehouses, apartments, and some of the most valuable land in the State of Texas. In addition to his real estate portfolio, Mr. Yazdani is also the founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer of American Risk Insurance Company.
In his free time, Mr. Yazdani serves on the board of various non-profits and is a licensed pilot.
