NUFDI Digital Media Manager (Social Media Marketing)


The NUFDI Digital Media Manager is a unique opportunity to join a growing advocacy group in a full-time or part-time role. The Digital Design Manager will enjoy broad creative freedoms to pursue the mission of promoting secular democracy and human rights in Iran and will manage digital design fellows.


Responsibilities will vary depending on NUFDI’s developing program but specific responsibilities may include:


  • Developing engaging social media content for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

  • Create infographics and other engaging content to display human rights violations in Iran

  • Produce short videos and other content on NUFDI activities and core campaigns, especially human rights


NUFDI Digital Fellows should meet the following qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of digital design and social media experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proven interest in human rights, Iran, international relations, politics, and media

  • Self-motivated and with superior attention to detail

  • Highly creative and artistic

  • Experience with social media and digital content development


Further qualifications:


  • Spoken and written Persian (Farsi)

  • Experience working on Iranian/Iranian-American issues


Details


  • This position is open to applicants interested in full time and part time positions

  • The role can temporarily be done remotely, but will preferably be done from Washington, D.C.
